Re: Running watches
The Nike one does exactly what I want, but I've had two now and they've both turned to shit - wouldn't upload data, etc. very frustrating, so gave up in the end.

The new Epson ones any good? Mixed reviews.

What is it about this forum that attracts so many people with money to burn but are without the basic capability to think for themselves?

Just had a look at a forerunner 225 that looks very good

Re: Running watches
If you're looking for something simple, well priced (£70) and reliable, I recommend the Garmin Forerunner 10. It can sometimes take a minute or two to pick up GPS but once it does it keeps the signal (well it has been where i've used it in Devon and Yorkshire).

The Garmin website that you upload the data to gives good detailed stats on your run which may inspire you to improve on future runs, too.

You don't have to?

Re: Running watches
A Forerunner 10 will do the job then, or just get a cheap 305 or something off eBay.

Re: Running watches
Garmin Forerunner as Buster said.

They will absolutely have the exact right one for you.

Don't bother with the latest fad mobile phone add-on type ones, unless you plan on just being fashionable and then chucking it in a drawer after a month.

Forerunner.

Which one depends on exactly what you want it to do.
